Niederdorf lies amidst a hilly countryside and offers a great view on the majestic peaks of the Dolomites surrounding the town. It is the ideal departure point for numerous easy and demanding hikes in the natural parks around the town. From spring till autumn Niederdorf offers all sports enthusiasts a number of opportunities to play their sports, and for those who seek peace and relaxation there are many spots where to allow your thoughts to fly freely.

However Niederdorf offers a variety of ways to spend your leisure time not only in summer but also in winter. The mountain Eggerberg displays the most beautiful views on the surrounding Dolomites’ peaks.
Those who look for peace and relax will love the idyllic winter landscape in and around Niederdorf. Cross-country skiers can get straight onto the track behind the house and from here explore the whole Hochpustertal net of trails which offers over 200 km of perfectly prepared snow.
For alpine skiers the ski area Kronplatz and the Helm area are very close.
